Why I Gives CEO of the Clough Family Foundation, Stormy Anderson has the pleasure of attending the Clough Fellows Scholarship Reception each year at the CMC campus in Rifle. Anderson shakes hands and give hugs as each student takes the stage and receives their award as a Clough Fellow. This is a moment of reflection on her family’s lasting and important legacy.
In 2010, Anderson’s grandmother, Genevieve Clough passed away at the age of 86 leaving a legacy for students who want to pursue an associate degree or technical certification after high school. The multimillion dollar endowment placed Mrs. Clough in the Davenport Legacy Society but more importantly ensured the educational success of individuals in the Rifle area for years to come. Each year, Anderson serves on the Clough Fellows Scholarship selection committee and attends the Clough Fellows Scholarship Reception. As she shares words of wisdom passed down from her grandmother during the reception, Anderson inspires scholars to pursue their dreams.
