CMC Foundation Campus Projects

Colorado Mountain College Foundation plays a key role in developing the infrastructure for CMC to deliver the breadth of services that characterizes a "comprehensive community college." Part of that effort involves improving existing facilities and raising funds for new campuses and campus buildings.

There are currently 12 Colorado Mountain College Locations.  Each makes a permanent and meaningful contribution to its community. Capital campaigns for new, enlarged or renovated facilities offer communities a chance to support opportunities for educational growth.

Ribbon cuttings, like the one below, are the thrilling results of a community coming together in support of CMC's dedication to learning. CMC has had two such events in the last two years, one for the Vail Eagle Valley Campus in Edwards, and the other for the Chaffee County Academic Center.

Now foundation fundraising centers on the Rifle area in a capital campaign for a new Western Garfield County Campus, led by a land gift by Bob Howard and Airport Land Partners, Ltd, and major donors EnCana Oil & Gas, (USA) Inc, and Williams.
