Bringing camaraderie, vision and culture to our communities
Women in Philanthropy
Membership in Women in Philanthropy is an opportunity to join forces with visionary donors, explore exclusive educational events, and enjoy camaraderie with other accomplished, community-driven women. One of the most exciting events of the year, the highly anticipated Women in Philanthropy Distinguished Lecture Series, brings nationally recognized speakers to the Edwards campus. This vibrant group raises funds from membership dues and special events. The funds are then pooled each year and members vote to select a specific program they would like to support at CMC.For more information about becoming a member of this unique program, please contact CMC Foundation Regional Development Officer, Diana Scherr.
Colorado Mountain College believes in the power of the arts and culture to build and enhance communities. ArtShare, a program powered by the Colorado Mountain College Foundation, collaborates with the art community to bring cultural enrichment to CMC campuses for the benefit of our students and the community as a whole. ArtShare programming is new each year but prioritizes bringing art, music or dance performances to our CMC campuses, with free access to the community. ArtShare also offers a regular series of visual art exhibits at the Colorado Mountain College ArtShare Gallery located in Glenwood Springs.
We also welcome guests to visit one of ArtShare’s most recognized and treasured exhibits: The George and Patti Stranahan Collection, an iconic collection of some of the world’s most famous black and white photographs. Learn more about the Stranahan Collection and view some of collection’s photographs.
