Colorado Mountain College’s Annual Fund is a fundraising campaign created to provide an annual stream of revenue for the college, district-wide. Annual Funds are common and typical funding sources at most colleges, universities and other not-for-profit organizations. They have been compared, in importance, to a stream that feeds and nourishes a river.
Public institutions, like Colorado Mountain College, are always seeking large monetary gifts and grants from individuals, corporate donors and foundations. These significant funds are essential for successful capital campaigns, building renovations, scholarship offerings and new programs. But it is equally important for not-for-profits, like CMC, to build a strong and wide base of support from its own community (faculty and staff) and from its geographic communities as well. This essential, grassroots broad based support reflects the strong commitment and support of college staff and community partners.
Support from CMC’s employees and community members tells potential donors that our college is valued and respected and that it serves and meets community needs. Through credit, non credit, high school dual enrollment, Work Force, customized business services and 50+ courses, CMC educates, trains, retrains and entertains 24,000 students across Colorado, every year. Not every community is fortunate enough to have its own college, but 11 in our 12,000 square-mile college district do.
No gift to CMC’s Annual Fund is too small; small gifts add up and really do make a difference. Your gift to the Annual Fund helps CMC Foundation support the mission of Colorado Mountain College—to create a better future for our students.
Please support your community college—through CMC's Annual Fund!
